We wanted to make you aware and update you on the excess water at the community pond along Crawford Farms Drive. Due to a mainline leak and recent rains, the community pond has over-filled and caused water to flow onto the community's sidewalk. Both Brickman (our community landscaper) and Magnolia Fisheries (our community pond vendor) have been out to assess the issues and have assured us that the pond bank is not eroding.
Due to the excess water and forecasted rains, Brickman has dug a temporary trench to allow water to drain from the pond into the street. However, the sidewalk will remain wet and be a potential slip risk until the excess water has completely receded. Brickman has put caution tape up this afternoon and we ask all residents to use caution when walking around the pond.
We are working to find a permanent solution for the drainage of excess water and appreciate your patience as the Board and management work to resolve this.
