Management has received a report of a coyote sighting and confrontation from a resident while walking his dog in the early morning of April 27, 2015. The incident reportedly occurred between 5 - 5:30 AM near the main north entrance by the pond area, and the resident was aggressively pursued back to his front porch on Grayhawk Ln. The resident indicated that the coyote was "circling" and "challenging" he and his pet. He said that his large breed dog was able to keep the coyote at bay.
Management is encouraging residents to be cautious and closely keep notice of your surroundings while out running, jogging, and walking pets. Residents are advised to keep a safe distance from any strange animal and call Animal Care and Control at 817-392-1234, as well as FSR, to report any contact. In the event of any emergency, call 911.
